Heat Recovered from Saltend Chemicals Park:
Waste heat from Salt End Chemicals Park, which cannot otherwise be utilised on-site, is captured and repurposed. This recovered energy is the foundation for providing environmentally friendly heating solutions across the network.

Transfer via Pre-Insulated Pipes:
The captured heat is transferred through pre-insulated pipes to an energy centre (EC) located at Saltend Chemicals Park and Yorkshire Energy Park. These pipes ensure minimal heat loss during transit, maintaining energy efficiency from the source to the destination.
